Notice of Proposed School Budget
Notice is hereby given that a proposed budget has been submitted to the Board of Education of Kit Carson School District R1 for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2023 and has been filed in the office of the superintendent where it is available for public inspection. Such proposed budget will be considered for adoption at a regular meeting of the Board of Education of said district at the Kit Carson R1 Board Room on June 20, 2023 at 7:00 p.m.
Any person paying school taxes in said district may at any time prior to the final adoption of the budget file or register his/her objections thereto.

Provide both rigorous and responsive instruction by using the elements of intentional design with a specific focus making student thinking visible and giving specific, meaningful, feedback in the learning process.

Build Professional and Community COLLABORATIVES
Establish and sustain systems for teachers and staff to strengthen delivery of instruction through on-going conversation and critique of practice and develop partnerships with the community.
Board Meetings are held on the 4th Tuesday of each month in the school conference room at 7:00 p.m. Please check the monthly calendar for changes in date and time.
